I've tried both shadowplay and obs, but the video quality is terrible.... I have also changed record setting in both programs to no avail 🙁
It seems that memory and cpu performance are not the issue...

Solution
I found anything under 15 Mb/s for 1080 in shadowplay to produce a bad picture,so I have it at 15,50 might be too much for your I/O subsystem to handle,if the video skips or even stops but the gameplay is normal then this is probably the problem.
if you use OBS and if you have a nvidia GPU then there is a special setting for better recording and after you do that there will be some more settings where you can select high performans or high quality and much more settings under that

Ok. In obs I record using max. bitrate of 3000 kb/s. In shadowplay works a bit different, the high profile allows for 50 mb/s as maximum.

oh sorry, i forgot shadowplay does it in mb/s not kb/s.

is there anyway you can upload a sample video to youtube or dropbox? so I can see it?
