I can get access to a perpetual license of McAfee VirusScan Enterprise ver. 8.7i for free through the University that I attend.
I have never heard good things about McAfee, but I don't want to pay for antivirus.
Basically, this "paid" McAfee could be free for me through my university, but is it actually better than a free option like MSE?
I like to game, so I don't want anything that interferes with that. I also like lightweight programs. But I do want the best protection possible, even though I am very safe with my internet usage (nearly all familiar trusted sites, no file sharing or torrenting, etc)
