Question Merging a selected number of PDF files

Hello I have 10,000 PDF files each containing 160 pages.
I need to try and combine these files in batches of 8 so I end up with 1250 PDF files containing 1280 pages in each. The reason behind this is for printing purposes so they can be printed as blocks.

I know how to combine PDFs etc however can't think of a way to say select in batches of 8 and automatically merge without having to manually do it which takes hours.

Copy every 8 files in separate folders
add the folders to a merge tool which can use folders instead of single files
maybe the tool "folder mill" can help
