Metro pcs phones that can be tethered

any smartphone should be able to tether. you might even be able to tether any 3g/4g phone regardless of type. you'd have to check with metro pcs.

normally companies charge you for the option to tether (rediculous isnt it?) but i know an app on android allows you to bypass it (if you have an android phone that is).

sounds like you need to talk to mpcs or look on their website.

what is the app to bypass for the metro pcs phone?

you have three options if you have an "android" phone.

-if available pay your provider for access to tethering (pretty bad idea)
-use a program like pdaNET (theres also a few other ones out there)
-root your phone and use miui or other rom with the capability built in (if you screw things up you can brick your phone or void your warranty)

i was going to use pdanet but decided to root and am runing miui. making the phone into a wireless hotspot was as easy as a few clicks on screen..

for you i'd suggest just going with an app like pdaNET as it is much safer.
