mic isn't working

and the mic is still not working so I'm wondering what'S up.. I'm on windows 10

What is the make and model of the current headset?

Have you tried other known working headsets with and without the adapter/splitter?

May be a faulty adapter.

What do you mean with 1 Jack? Maybe your headphones don't even have Microphone.

It is not working with another headset as well and when my headset is plugged in my phone without the adapter it is working perfectly fine ...

It is a steel series headset

Adapter is faulty, I guess.
