Mic Static, HELP!

I have purchased two PC gaming headsets and with both i get major mic static. I've tried everything from changing the sensitivity to, well, getting a new headset. One was USB powered and the other was audio/mic jack powered. I have a 600 watt psu. Both headsets had great audio quality but its the mic that's the issue. I really need a dependable answer ASAP!

ok, so the mic works and i can hear myself, but there is a constant buzzing, static, and chirping.
