microphone recording everything?

my microphone is recording all sounds, output and my voice. i only want it to catch my voice
my microphone is a steelseries arctis 5 and i dont use realtek driver, os is win 10

Go into Sound Manager and make sure Listen to this device is unchecked.

Also make sure your BIOS for your motherboard/laptop is up to date.

listen to this device is unchecked and has always been like that, the mic was just working a few days ago and i turned it on to find it recording the output. bios is also on the latest version
