"Microsoft and AOL are now the largest Internet company and in an effort make sure that Internet explorer remains the most widely used program, Microsoft and AOL are running an e-mail beta test...."

I suppose if you throw enough badly managed companies together, that they'll eventually be able to compete with a well managed company like Google. NOT!

That is only because Microsoft paid off enough officials to not sue them into submission with the illegal tactics they employ. If you don't believe that look at all the "Lobbyists" they have at the capitol to push through what they want.

Truth, unlike the European Union, MS can monopolize at will in the US...

That must explain why Linux is so popular in Europe. What kind of marketshare does it have there? 2, 2 1/2 %?

Good for Microsoft, take any measures needed to safeguard your income. That's what businesses are for, after all.

But hey, people always ignore the bad practices of Google anyway. Ignorance is bliss.
