Fox News has announced they will beef up their in house IT operation and develop a new Operating System to run on Servers, PCs, Smart Phones and Tablets...

Sounds silly ?

Sounds even sillier to ditch a market that has over 400 million users currently visiting it per month, doesn't it? Why can't people deal with the fact that companies, especially corporations the size of Microsoft, expand their portfolios?

Considering how loathed Fox news is for it's totally bias view of "news" it may be refreshing to have another look, plus if companies just stuck with what they were good at and didn't diversify then Google would just be another search engine and Apple would just make overpriced white computers.

Yeah, cos marching down the street in an Uncle Sam outfit, playing "Hail to the chief" on a one-man-band whilst acosting anyone wearing a red t-shirt and calling them a "commie" just works wonders doesn't it
...
'Merica, F**K YEAH!!!

Thanks ABCShoping for adding that huge dollar sign it really makes me want to give you my card info.

If they do this well I think they can turn themselves into a power house in news. Based on how many people currently dislike existing companies.

The good thing about setting up a news organisation is that there should be (thankfully) few patent lawsuits, after all the news is something that happens, not owned
