My computer even got a BSOD in safe mode with this update installed. I had to do a system restore to before the update.

Things like this are why I install updates when I'm ready rather than the instant they come out. That and automatically rebooting my computer without saving data gets rather annoying.

But then there lies the issues with windows 8.1 where your PC says missing files and can't reinstall itself. And you don't have a cd cause it was a download from Microsoft's store.
