I completely agree with you on this one. In addition, Microsoft may be obliged to divulge certain information since you can't have hidden code when the government is involved.

I also think Microsoft may have missed an important oportunity here. Not only would the military be purchasing the units, they will more than likely be purchasing Xbox Live memberships so they can compete against other people over the net. Microsoft could have made a sales pitch for dedicated military only servers and network.

It still costs more to make that pos system than it sells for? lol, and true patriots MS (Mega-Stingy) are with their amazing console. Meanwhile the U.S. Airforce is building a super computer cluster with a couple thousand PS3's, which Sony takes a far larger hit on per unit.

[citation][nom]tayb[/nom]No, you haven't been building anything for 15 years. You've been ordering pre-built parts from manufacturers and assembling them into a computer. You certainly have been using the wrong terminology for 15 years though, I'll give you that.[/citation]

You apparently have never heard that we are formally referred to as system builders. Look it up, Google is your friend. Or don't, and stick to your own definitions. No one cares, you just sound like a dumb-ass.

You can stick to your own definitions. I'll stick to the correct definitions. You are more than welcome to refer to yourselves as something you are not. That's fine with me. Call yourselves system builders. It's not true but who am I to tell you that you can't call yourself that?

Google is your friend. Learn the difference between building and assembling and you won't sound so ill informed and childish when you are confronted with a real engineer.

lol, trying to pull rank? Degree in electronics engineering here, so I'm not impressed that you're a "real" engineer. I imagine it's hard for a grammar nazi like you, but deal with it. Forums hate your kind, so I have no problem calling you out.

If you had a degree in electronic engineering you would learn in the INTRO class the difference between building and assembling. And you certainly wouldn't be here arguing that they are basically the same thing, because they aren't. I'm not impressed with your ability to make stuff up.

Grammar nazi's are supposed to correct grammar, or so I thought. Another instance of you using the completely wrong word? I would also correct you if you said the United States was in Europe. Equally as wrong as referring to assembling a computer as building a computer.

But, hey, you can pretend to be whatever you want to pretend to be. Apparently you get your jollies pretending you're building computers.

I know we're not suppose to feed the trolls here, but correcting ignorant grammar nazis is a hobby of mine.

What's really hilarious is you're too stupid to know that you're describing the difference between assembling and manufacturing, not building.
