Does anyone know how to turn of the safety warning in Microsoft Streets and Trips everytime the GPS is started? I'm using the 2010 version with Windows 7, 64 bit.
Larry, you could use AutoIt ( autoitscript.com ), or AutoHotKey ( autohotkey.com ), or some other free software to write a script to automate various tasks. It takes a little bit of learning at first, but one doesn't need to be a programmer to use these tools. It can be fun, and you can automate many other functions of Streets & Trips.
The free add on of S&T Keys (Hotkeys for Streets & Trips) has been created in AutoIt. Check it out, S&T Keys may already have plenty of features you may use (it doesn't automate the "A" though.): http/www.laptopgpsworld.com/keys
A-key is a keyboard shortcut to Agree with the safety warning. I just hit the A on my keyboard to close the pop up. Alternativelly, you could create a script to automate the sending of
the A-key each time the warning window appears on the screen.
