Nothing overly impressive. While at the flea selling my wares, one of
the guys who USED to be my competition (heh heh heh) came up to me and
said he had an Intellivision and a few games he wanted to get rid of.
Conversation went a little something a-like a-this:
Me: "Oh yeah? What are we talking here, with the box or what?"
Him: "The system's boxed, also have the voice module boxed, and like 4 of
games have boxes. Not all of them may have manuals or the cards
(overlays). There are a bunch of loose games in the system box too.
Burgertime is the only one that sticks out in my mind."
Me "What are you looking for for it?"
Him "$25"
Me "Hmm... $25... I'll have to see it first, where you set up at?"
Him "I'm not set up today." *story of how some game store bought out all
his game inventory before they moved that I've heard from him twice
before*
Me "Okay. I'm here all day, bring it over then."
He brings it over, Intv box is in overall B- condition. One corner is
banged in, average wear over-all. The game boxes are all in A condition.
Slightly gritty feel probably from being in an attic or a house with a
moderate smoker. CIB games were LV BJ&P, LV Roulette, Frog Bog, and
Bowling. Loosies were Lock 'n Chase (no box), LV BJ&P (no box or
manual), Burgertime (no box), and Boxing (no box).
$25 isn't too shabby, generally more than I'd pay, but I'm fresh out of
Inty stuff in my collection, so to pick up a CIB system and Intellivoice
w/ some CIB games made me happy.
