My Mitsubishi DLP WD-82738 has a Fast Blinking Status Green Light.

When I first turn on the TV the Green Status light flashes about 6 times then goes out. TV never turns on. If I press the TV on button again nothing happens.
If I unplug the TV then plug it back in then press the TV on button the green light does the same, blanks for a few seconds then goes out no picture, TV does not turn on.

There is a possibility that the power board has bad capacitors. You can still seek for a help to a local repairman or technician but, if the repair cost more than a price of a new TV, just buy a new one instead of relying on the repair.

I already fixed the problem with the lamp door switch.

I have the wd-73838 my tv comes on for a second than pops and goes off and. Flashes green how did you fix
