While it's nice to see that "they" are working on making bigger oled displays, I think that I would have preferred to see a prototype 20-30 inches display with an HD resolution.
1088x640 is already relatively low by today standard and on a 149 inch display it would look like Commodore 64's graphic from a short distance (with all due respect to the mighty Commodore 64) :p

Its good to see OLED getting developed more, but it wont really be too appealing until the dot pitch (pixel size) is less than 0.5mm

It's new tech people... These OLEDs are new tech and shouldn't be considered any indicator of commercial (mainstream) models. The scaling stuff is kind of cool though, say high to bevel-less screens!

I think the 1088x640 is referring to "the overall screen consists of a grid containing smaller, edge-less OLED modules." Making up the 149" screen.
