Hi All,
I have a HP Pavilion zd7010us. I have been using it with no problem for about 7 months. About a week ago, I downloaded
MobileMeter. It reports;
Frequency 2.66 GHz
Temperature 66.00 Celsius
Charge Rate 0.00 Watt
HDD #0 36.00 Celsius
According to my manual, the operating temperature for the machine is 5 Celsius to 35 Celsius. I put a thermometer in fron of the
exhaust vent on the left side of the machine, and it reports 61 Celsius. After being on for more than 15 minutes, it always gets
up to 66 Celsius. Should I worry about the amount of heat that is generated?
I am assuming that MobileMeter is accurate . . . I say this because I have other programs that report hard disk temperature and
they all agree. If you have any experience about the HP Pavilion zd7010us or MobileMeter, I would welcome your comments.
