Typical comments from people who probably don't favor anti-abortion and have a supremely smug view about how they're living their lives and how others should live theirs.
Yes, its a tragedy, especially for their immediate families, but I'm always a little amazed at how everyone wants bloody murder as if it were their own children that were killed or as if they had some divine right to intercede and preclude someone else's reproductive rights, even if they aren't very good at it.
If you want to bemoan the state of children in the world there are probably hundreds of thousands of abandoned, starving, unwanted and adoption agency children that you can still help in some way. Or better yet, why don't we start requiring people to be licensed before they can reproduce, this seems to be what some want. Have them take required parenting classes every year and go through psychological tests when they want to have a baby or find a way to make every baby born in your country sterile until a solution is administered.
Contrary to popular belief, children aren't innocent, esp. when they're reliant on the parent. The child generally takes on the sins of the parents. Even starving lions in Africa will abandon their cubs when there's no food or if they're ill. Man is also an animal (Also contrary to deluded beliefs) and will always be so.
I know it sounds cold, but it was their genetic heritage that they stupidly or carelessly destroyed, not someone else's.
