Mono Mic to Stereo Mic Help

So I recently just gt a Shure SM7B Microphone, I do a lot of stuff on youtube as well as livestreaming and things of that nature. This is a mono mic but when I do a basic video I can make it stereo when I edit. However when livestreaming I can't do that. If I were to get an XLR splitter would that give me stereo sound since it would be going into both of my channels? And if so would the sound still be decent? Thanks for any help

It will be XLR mono to 3.5 mm stereo male plug adapter
The 3.5 mm plugs into the computer. This plug is 3 conductor stereo.
However the tip and ring of the 3.5 plug is bridged, so the mono signal goes to both (left and right) inputs.
