Motherboard drivers

Hello, can somebody explain how important motherboard drivers are? If gaming will there be difference having instaled motherboard drivers?

Motherboard drivers are the base for everything else on the PC. First thing you want to install after a clean setup of Windows. Also called "Chipset" drivers. Allows Windows to properly detect video devices, audio, RAM, PCI cards, onboard devices like serial/parallel ports, USB ports, etc...

Install the chipset drivers, then all the others for the computer.
