Motherboard suggestions needed

What mobo would I get with an intel i5 2500k? I had an asus p8z68-v but it got bend by shipping it with ups..

Have you tried it...many times they can flex quite a lot and still work. Get another Asus and try to make UPS pay for the cost.

Problem is that because of the bend not 1 single ( yes I tried a few ) cpu fan connects properly anymore, so the thermal paste doesn't do anything no more so overheat is a fact. also the gpu connector is bend and the usb connectors.. UPS will normally pay, the claim is in progress but that doesn't take away the fact that I need a new mobo 😉

I hear you...I had them bend a whole computer I bought (vintage Amiga 2000) and dent one I shipped. Sorry to hear that.

It seriosulty sucks because this was my first ever build, my baby 😉
So what mobo would I go for? i can't go above 100$ to 🙁 ( or the wife would get pissed 😉 )
