I keep getting a notice on my Moto G Power G5 phone to update to Android 15. Why?
Why do I need to update/upgrade? What are the security risks? What are the functional risks? My service is T-Mobile.
About me & my phone: I don't use a lot of apps. I don't live on my phone. It's not glued to my hand. I mostly used it as a phone and occasionally to look things up on the web. I also listen to web radio. No, not Spotify. Actual radio thru my browser (Firefox). I text maybe once a day, don't do email on it, and absolutely never, ever do anything financial on my phone. I don't store passwords or c.card info on it either. I don't even take a lot of photos. Total usage for all purposes is maybe 5 minutes a day.
So do I need to update?
