Move SD apps back to tablet

How do I move my apps that were all on my SD card back to my Android tablet after my unuseful Google Assistant informed me I needed to format my SD card?

A bunch of my apps are stored on my SD card then the SD card won't come up when I try to use those apps in my tablet it just shows a SD card Shadow over them so I asked my Google assistant and it told me to format my SD card I did and now I can't get any of them help please and thank you in advance.

Formatting any disk wipes the data clean and they should have known that. Did you format it as Internal Storage or Portable Storage? Portable would be best if you aren't going to run Apps from the card.

Fortunately, they are only Apps you can download again and not precious photos which aren't stored in duplicate elsewhere.
