Moving Torrents?

I always wanted to know i i could take a torrent that's for example 50% finished and move the file onto another computer and finish downloading it there?

i ask this now because i want to reformat but i have some large files that don't want to have to start all over again

You can keep seeding regardless of their location as long as you don't change the file name or tags*

In uTorrent:

1. Right click the torrent then click "Stop".

2. Right click again, choose "Advanced", "Set Download Location".

3. Browse to where you have moved the files.

4. Right click, "Force re-check"

5. Right click "(force) Start".
