Mozilla firefox will not uninstall

Hello,
I can't unintall firefox every time I try it says it needs to update and reboot the computer and I've let it reboot 100 times and it still won't do anything and I've tried intalling new and now it says its not compatible and I need to intall capability with 64 bit and it doesnt give that option when looking for download. please someone help!

Download revo uninstaller, and use that to uninstall Firefox.

safe mode and get rid of it..

Thank you - the ONLY method that worked. Booted into Safe mode (after trying a bunch of ideas, unsuccessfully) and blew away both FF 10 and FF 11 Beta. All the other misguided ideas were fruitless.
