MSI gaming laptop making alarm noise during update

About halfway through a Windows update my laptop started to make this loud alarm noise, any ideas/solutions?

That is not an alarm noise, sounds like feedback from the speakers. Is it still doing this non-stop? I'd delete and re-install the audio drivers from the laptop vendor.
