Question MSI GL65 Leopard not showing wireless networks

there is no wifi button at all, airplane mode (which is off) and network settings are the only things when i click the internet icon on the bottom right. in the settings, it only shows ethernet and bluetooth settings but no wireless. i didn't change any settings or install any updates and it suddenly stopped working for wifi. i have tried countless solutions but none have worked so far
 
It is possible the wireless adapter has failed (broken HW). Sometimes, the wireless adapter is a separate card plugged into the motherboard. Most laptops come with a HW diagnostic-I don't know if yours did and if it did if it has a test for the wireless HW. I would search from some HW diagnostic that can test your wireless adapter.
