Msi GS43VR 7RE SSD upgrade

Does the Msi GS43VR 7RE work with M.2 PCIE SSD or only M.2 SATA III SSD. I heard different answers from different people, some say yes and some say no. How can i upgrade the SSD anyways because it only have 1 M.2 SSD alot
