MSI gt70 2OC-065 US touch panel not working

Hi, I have a MSI GT70 2OC - 065 US laptop. I've been using it for the past year without any problems... Suddenly my touch panel stopped working. None of the features, like turbo fan, backlit keyboard, etc are working. Reinstalling SCM didn't help either... And it was working fine, till yesterday too.. Please help me out. Thanks in advance!

Take out your HDD and send it back for RMA. support section on msi's website. might be a while considering the timing

I'm based in India, so doing that is definitely out of the option... But what does my HDD have to do with this anyway?

take out your hdd so those Awordweshouldntsayontomshardware dont have access to your personal data @ the rma center. i suppose you could re install windows and hope.
