Review MSI Vector GP78 HX 13V

Hey peeps,

I'd like to share my experience with the MSI Vector GP78.
Spec wise its jacked - i9-13980HX, 32 GB of DDR5 at 5600 MT/S and a nice RTX4080.
So far i've had it for exactly 10 days and i can say its indeed powerful, but i did get that very low score for CPU in the Night Raider benchmark(20 733), anyone else got this?
Anyway, moving on, keyboard is fine, the RGP is a bit dim, but its not a turnoff for me.
Sound quality is normal, its not a boombox for sure.
The only issue i have is the darn red pixel that showed yesterday. Its probably some stuck pixel, but its very bothering on a brand new not so cheap laptop.
Before the pixel showed itself i was very happy, now not so much as its driving me mad - let me know if you know how to get rid of it(did that jscreen site, it worked once for a couple of hours then the red pixel came back).

Overall, but still counting in the red pixel - i'd give it a strong 7.5/10.
If counting the pixel out - easy 8/10.

Hey @MikeTaku,
I got the screen replaced under warranty, but thats not the interesting bit.
After some updates, both windows and other I restarted the laptop, but it wouldnt boot.
Tried to reset the bios with every tutorial there was, but it still wouldnt boot.
So i sent it over for repairs, they replaced the motherboard and the screen under warranty, but to this day i still cant get any info from the repair center regarding the motherboard issue.
All in all it took them like 15 days for the repairs and so far so good.
