I know MSI makes good motherboards and video cards, but how does their laptops hold up against malfunctions?

Debating between an Asus and MSI laptop, both under $700

Check out this link in regard to reliability. I know that MSI isn't on there, but it should give you a good idea about Asus. I've never really heard anything bad about MSI.

If I were you, I'd probably go with the MSI, as it seems to be a better deal in regard to performance.
