I have a Fujitsu laptop that does not have enough hard drive to accommodate Windows 7 or later. Can it be upgraded to accommodate these later versions or is it a complete loss?

Solution
Hi,

The answer is yes, most of laptop's HDD can be upgraded just be sure to get the same size of the old HDD that should fit with no problem. All HDD are plug and play, once installed into your laptop just run the Windows 7 disc and it should work with no problem.

I bought a hard drive duplicator taking a 40 gig SATA to copy data to a 250 gig SATA hard drive.

So it can be done and best part is once the new drive is in then nothing needs to be done except to upgrade like you are wanting to do.
