Music signal with no power

Hello,
stereo plays a loop of music when no power connectconnected, is it possible to stop it doing this? and why does it do it? It is possible someone who shall remain nameless is trying to annoy me, so could a wireless transmitted signal be powerful enough to run a short loop on my amp?
