Here's my dilemma. I need a new laptop badly. My old sony vaio fw140e is on life support ( I can never remove the power as my battery died some time ago).

The specs I want are..

Intel i7 (would like broadwell but will settle on 4th gen)
16GB ram
256 - 512 SSD
wireless ac
reasonably battery life
preferably under $2000
and 4K would be nice, but not necessary

I have searched and searched and it seems that every laptop is missing one requirement or has other flaws. I have narrowed it done to a few, but would love to hear the community's recommendations.

Lenovo y50 ($1400)
Acer v15 nitro ($1499)
Dell xps 15 ($1899)
asus n550 (not too sure about this one being in the running) ($1300)

It seems that both the lenovo and acer have poor battery life and the lenovo has color issues with the 4K screen. The acer doesn't have ac but does have mimo tech.

The dell.... well it's a dell. and I have only heard nightmare after nightmare about dell computers. However, the top model from the microsoft store seems quite nice and their complete service seems somewhat reassuring. I also dislike the lack of an ethernet port, but an adapter can fix that.

The asus as a glossy 1080p screen which I do not care for.

Opinions?
