My 3G android phone can almost never get internet on Sprint network. Any tips?

I can almost never get a connection on the Sprint 3G network, especially at home and at work! Is there another way to connect? I've tried WiFi settings, and all it does is drain the battery. HELP.

You can call Sprint and ask them to put in a stronger signal where you live and work (they will probably laught at you when you hang up).

Try a different phone model.

Move to another service provider.

update your phones listing of cell towers in the area. its usually a simple code you enter and the phone downloads the latest data.

i went from getting 0-1 bars intermittantly to 0-4 bars intermittantly.

keep in mind that if you work in an office building, you might not get strong signals. all the steel used in construction tends to disrupt them. also, are the problem areas in spots where you experience bad signal during phone calls? you might live in/near a dead zone.
