My 4dtv receiver broke down!

On the day when Prince Charles married Camilla, my 4dtv broke down when the
dish refuses to move. I called my 4dtv dealer Saturday and someone will be
out on Monday and said the receiver has broke down, Today, my dealer said
they called Motorola and they will replace the 4dtv for free (my 4dtv is
under warranty) by next Thursday or Friday. I have hooked up my MPEG2
receiver to the 4dtv without unplugging the power cord and when I hooked the
LNB cables to the 4dtv, the sparks flew on the back of the 4dtv. Could this
cause the premature failure of the receiver to malfunction? Probably did.

Try moving the dish while the LNB cables are not attached and see what happens. If the
dish moves one of the LNB cables probably has a short which stressed the power supply.

If the dish moves connect the LNB cables one at a time to see which one is causing the
problem.
