I have an i5Acer Aspire Laptop (Travelmate) the lights don't come on except for the charger when it is plugged in. another question is will a laptop switch on without Hard drive? Please help

Hi, I answered you in the other thread. It will switch on without the HDD, it will give you an error, can't load PXE something like that. What you can try is power the laptop with another charger.
