My acer aspire one screen turns on black with two green lines

One side is darker then there's a yellowish green line and a green line and faint lines folkowing

Sounds like one of 2 possibilities:

1- failing screen

2- exposed to cold

Try letting it warm up to room temp before starting. If this is not the issue, screen is end of road, and will need to decide if can live with it, vs replace the screen. A lot of Acer screens are bottom end, and they show it.

Have you tried looking for another lcd screen? They aren't hard to replace(screen usually comes with the video adapter fine band that attaches to the main part of the screen cover. I replaced on for my friend and it cost about 58.00 Cdn, took 5 minutes to replace using a YouTube video on how to for the Laptop model I was working on.
