My Acer ES1-531-P8NJ laptop is plugged in but not actually charging! HELP!

So I bought my Acer Aspire ES 15 ES1-531-P8NJ around Christmas time and it was working perfectly fine without any faults. But now whenever I plug in my charger, it's not actually charging. It's stuck on 3%. So when I remove the charger, my laptop just completely dies. And I can't use my laptop unless it's plugged in BUT IT DOESN'T ACTUALLY CHARGE! It says it is charging but it's actually not! And I can't remove the battery or anything because it's built in to the computer. This is really bothering me and I would love someone to help me solve this issue. PLEASE!

You may want to check the AC adapter because based from the symptoms you mentioned it could be the one faulty. Use a multi tester and test your AC adapter if it's supplying enough voltage to power the laptop or better yet try another AC adapter that has the same voltage. If the same problem will persist with a different AC adapter that means it's the battery that is faulty not the AC adapter.
