my acer aspire 4736. laptop will shut down as soon as it is unplugged, even though it is fully-charged. And it will not switch on unless it is plugged. and i changed new battery too. kindly help me out.

I have the same (acer 7750G) problem where mine won't turn on unless plugged in, but I can unplug it and it stays on. It appears to be an issue with the battery controller circuit on the motherboard for which there is no easy fix.

Board issue and you will have to either live with it or consider a replacement board but personally I wouldn't bother.
