My acer laptop wont play in stereo why

Hello,
i have an acer 9300 series model no m52195...The problem i have is that i want to use it to present my Karaoke show but it won't play in stereo through my ampflifier..But my hewlett packard will though that one has other issues so i would prefer to use my acer ,bot it;s no good without both speakers....any help..

the acer headphone jack is 3.5 mm stereo. You need an adapter cable to plug it into an amplifier...
WHAT amplifier? What type of input does the amplifier have?
