My alienware 14 doesnt connect to the ps4 when i connect the hdmi

i tried fn+f9 and it still doesnt work. do i have to switch the graphic card or anything?

Well my "f9" also doesn't have any words on it, i also switched the hdmi cable, and i heard it usually just connects automatically, is there any other way to connect it manually?

What he meant was like, what are you trying to accomplish.

If your goal is to connect your PS4 to your laptop to use the laptop's display and a monitor for your PS4 - that won't work, since the HDMI on your laptop is strictly an output.
