My asus laptop keeps shutting down and saying 0% charge left. I recently bought a new lithium battery and new adapter from Asus and it's doing the same thing?

Anyone else have the same issue? Suggestions anyone?

Almost same problem. My Asus is same age, and the new battery will not hold charge if unplugged. Going to return it. Can't seem to find help either.
