My ASUS laptop won't charge, and I've replaced the battery

I bought an ASUS G73JH-A1 used about 2 years ago. It has never been able to charge even after replacing the battery. It does run with the battery out, so it's not the charger. Suggestions?

It could still be the charger that is at fault. The charging circuit is separate from the power circuit.

the charging circuit is part of the motherboard not in the adapter. if there is a fuse in the charging circuit hopefully it is blown & not some other part of the charging circuit.
