I have a mid 2014 Macbook pro. In early may It stopped working, and they said it would cost 800 dollars to replace it. It wouldn't even turn on. Instead of paying the 800, I chose instead to start looking for a new computer. This morning when I woke up, I decided to try charging it. To my amazement it worked. After charging to 70%, I unplugged it, changed rooms, and now it wont charge. I went back to the outlet it was at before, and it wont work. In early may, they said I spilled water on it and that was why it wasn't working, but currently it is working fine. My magsafe charger is all yellow and very frayed and there is a green glue where it is frayed. When I plug it in, the led inside the charger wont go on. Is it the chargers fault or the logic boards fault?
FWI I resetted the SMC numerous times, everything else is perfect besides the fact that it wont charge.
