So, i want to make covers for youtube. But i only have a gaming headset(logitech) But everytime i talk/sing into it i sound like a child. i bought it because i taught it would record the voice i normally sound like, i know its not my real voice because once i sang into a microphone with a popfilter and i sounded like i always do. But with the headset i still sounds like I'm talking/singing into and in-build microphone. How do i fix it? P.S I'm using the headset with my iMac.

If you are singing, you want a microphone with a different response than one that is intended for speech (like a headset mic). This article has a few suggestions -- http://ehomerecordingstudio.com/usb-microphones/ The Apogee would probably be a good choice for singing since it is a 24bit 96Khz digitizer.
