my hp laptop turn off after few second starting

My HP laptop is turned off after starting in few second I used o/s windows 7 home basic ,my question is that,either this problem related is motherboard or power supply what is solution?

Have you face any over heating problem during the machine restart? Mean while you can also do the following steps,

1. Remove the battery of laptop.
2. Unplug from the power source now long press the power button for at least 10 to 15 seconds, by doing this system will restore its default settings.
3. Plugin the lap with power source after laptop start running normally then insert the battery.
