My hp mini hasnt been turned on in two years will it still work?

i bought an hp mini back in 2009 and i just recently found it again, if i buy a charger, what are the chances it will turn on and work just fine? i don't want to put money into buying a charger if it's shot, and a lost cause..

Being a consumer HP product my money is on it not working but if its been taken care of then it should work just fine

Should work just fine presuming it's been kept dry/not dropped/etc. (and that it worked when it was put away).

The battery might not hold a charge though.

If you remember it working before, there's no reason why it shouldn't work now. Two things you need to look out for: 1. Blow out all the dust it gathered since older HP laptops are very prone to overheating. 2. Be sure to get an authentic charger, not a cheap one from China.

it worked fine when it put it away, i used it for school work, and the charger broke then so i just never purchased a new one, but it's been put up in storage for a good two years now, but thank you guys for all your help!!🙂
