My HP monitor shows ACER on screen

I bought a monitor from a friend and when I boot up it shows ACER S271HL instead of HP L1908w.
What I've tried so far
■ uninstall all display drivers (clean uninstall Nvidia and Intel) using DDU
■ installed latest nvidia drivers and intel drivers for integrated

and this is what it look like when I plug

and when I try to report it on HP support, it gave me like this

are you using some adapter?
the pc id the monitor wrong, can you change it in the property ?

@rgd1101 what do you mean adapter? this adapter was from my graphics card..

I've tried reformat pc cause I am owning SSD, installed integrated graphics (intel) and nvidia for my graphics card gt 780.

yet it still shows acer using driver booster

yeah sir I've never used driver scanner first, I've downloaded directly on their site both nvidia and intel drivers, and when I see that my monitor still generic, I've download some driver scanner like driver booster if I see what is missing on that. then I see is it still ACER.
