my HP pavilion g6 won't turn on

It is a 2012 era amd a6 and specifically when I turn it on, the power button will show the normal light and the wireless button will show a red light, it charges normally but the screen will stay black, then the laptop will turn off. This takes about a minute, I don't know what the problem is but is there a quick fix, I can't afford a new laptop and I need it for school. Please respond quickly

No I didn't cuz my screen doesn't even turn on

I doubt it could hurt too much seeing as your laptop is a paper weight for the moment.

Do a hard reset on this. With the battery off, look for a tiny hole underneath, poke it with a paper clip and turn it on again.
