My HP Spectre battery is dead and won’t recharge. I tried a universal power cord and that didn’t help. Battery is internal. Any suggestions to get it started again?

Is it in warranty still? If yes contact HP support.

If not, try a real HP power supply, open the laptop and re-seat the battery connections, try another battery.
